Speaking at a press conference at Loyola University, Oct. 19, 1998, Obama said, well, we’ll let you hear it for yourself below. At that time, he was entering the re-election campaign for his second term as a junior senator from Illinois. Nobody had really (outside of that state) heard of Obama.

Listen carefully to his words. They sound remarkably similar to what we hear now in many respects.
