Oregon Man Arrested for DUI, Meth After High-Speed Injury Crash
Sunday evening this clown plowed into another driver so hard he knocked them across the road and through a chain link fence.
Around 8:15pm, 20-year-old Lorenso Espain Rafael of Umatilla was headed South on Highway 395 near Bagget Lane when he slammed into the back of another vehicle. Rafael pictured below.
Rafaels, RX8 hit the other car, driven by 68-year-old Maria Crispin Mateo of Irrigon, sending it spinning off the road and into a chain link fence! Mateo was hit SO hard her spinning car struck another vehicle as well, driven by Zachary Wilson, 31, of Umatilla.
Oregon State Police then arrested Rafael on the following charges after investigators learned why he slammed into the other vehicles:
*DUII - Alcohol
* Reckless Driving
* Recklessly Endangering Another Person (9 counts)
* Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance - Methamphetamine
He has been booked into the Umatilla County Jail and had no valid driver's license or insurance.
Several passengers riding with the other motorists were taken to area hospitals.
