The name of the man killed April 19th East of Pendleton on I-84 has been released.

Around 3:30pm Oregon State Troopers were called to the scene where a motorcycle had left the road, struck the guardrail and crashed.

The rider, 80-year-old Richard R. Hutchins of Chicago, was pronounced dead at St. Mary's Medical Center in Walla Walla where he was taken after the crash.

No other information has been released, the investigation into why he crashed into the guardrail continues.
