Oregon Music Teacher Arrested for Alleged Sex Abuse of Student
Ione, OR teacher jailed on sex abuse charges (Morrow County Sheriff)
A music teacher at the Ione, OR charter school is in custody in the Morrow County jail, accused of sexual abuse charges involving a 16-year-old student.
24-year-old Bryan Bates was taken into custody, but officials did not release any specific details except to say he was involved in misconduct with the girl on school property. He was arrested Wednesday.
His bail has been set at $24K. The investigation continues.
