Pasco police are still investigating, and not sure if an early morning incident Thursday was a bullet, or from a BB gun. Either way, the projectile shattered a window in a driver's vehicle.

Police say in the 200 block of West Lewis, the man was driving home just after midnight, when he noticed three people walking on the sidewalk eastbound.

The motorist was apparently stopped at a light, when he glanced over at them.  He told police he saw one of them pull a gun from his waistband. The driver sped off, but not before the person fired at his car, according to KNDU-TV.

The bullet, or BB, shattered one of his car windows. He then called police, but they were unable to locate the three people, described as young males. Police say based upon the damage to the car, it may have been a BB gun.
