Quick thinking and efforts enabled a woman and two children to escape a Pasco apartment fire Tuesday night.

Shortly after 8pm, emergency responders arrived to a call at 812 South 8th. Avenue, where they found a unit filled with smoke.  They found a woman inside and got her to safety, then went back in and brought out two children who were inside as well.

All are ok, and no serious injuries were sustained. Although the cause of the fire is not yet known, it's believed to have started in the living room of the unit.
