Last Thursday, OSP troopers stopped a 29-year-old Pasco man on I-84 near Hood River for a traffic violation. They found four pounds of crystal methamphetamine in his car. Omar Huerta-Garcia was taken into custody for possession of the drug, which had a street value of $65,000.

Authorities are continuing to investigate where it came from, who made it, and if there are possible ties with other locals to distribute of the highly-addictive drug.
