Police did not offer a lot of specifics, but Pasco officials now say that threats made on Wednesday against the school district are connected to those in Sunnyside.

Wednesday, police investigated an alleged social media post around 11:20am that was circulating, allegedly making a threat against an unidentified school.

Police were notified and there was no threat found to Pasco. However, Thursday police now say those Pasco messages are related to ones circulating in Sunnyside earlier. They didn't say if they were from the same person(s) but they are related.

Two arrests have been made in that Sunnyside case. Police say they are confident there is no threat to Pasco at this time.
