A woman who was one of two suspects in a November 2016 armed robbery in Pendleton is now in custody after being arrested for shoplifting at Walmart.

Peggy Law Dawn Elaine Turk, 32, was wanted in connection with an armed robbery last fall at the Indian Hills Chevron in Pendleton. She was arrested but released after her court appearance on a promise to appear at a subsequent hearing.

Her partner in crime, 31-year-old Dennis Burgess, has been in jail since last year, he was arrested minutes after the robbery. He's being held on $130,000 bond.

Turk was seen Sunday allegedly shoplifting at the store, but did not leave with the merchandise. However, when officials ran her information, the outstanding warrant for failure to appear came up, and she was taken into custody.

According to mycolumbiabasin.com, she's being held on $50,000 in the county jail.
