Late Friday night, Pendleton police were called on a report of a missing person.  Officials say the woman had gone for a walk on the River Parkway, and was later found by the Bob White Babe Ruth baseball field the following morning just before 7 a.m. She had left around 6pm, and was reported missing shortly before midnight.

Police are looking for a potential suspect or person of interest in the case, described as a dark-skinned male, about 5' 8" and 150-175 lbs. The victim was taken to an area hospital, then transported to Portland's Oregon Health and Science University Hospital. She is described as in critical but stable condition. Her injuries were called significant.

Police released several photos of the person late Sunday evening and Monday morning.
