Saturday, an "armed" robber from Pasco learned it's not smart to hang out at a bus stop.

25-year-old Juan Manuel Reyes was arrested by Kennewick police after a witness and an off-duty detective spotted him around 12:30 pm in the vicinity of North Morain and West Kennewick Ave. in Kennewick.

He was wanted in connection with stealing a car at gunpoint earlier in the week in Pasco.  The detective confirmed the witness description, and several Kennewick patrol units converged on the area.

Reyes was taken into custody without incident while waiting for a bus.   He had in his possession a BB pistol that looked very much like a real weapon.  It is not known if this was the weapon he used in the earlier robbery.  He was booked into the Franklin County Jail on suspicion of First Degree Robbery.
