Three incidents of break-ins over the President's Day weekend are believed to have possibly been done by the same person or persons, say authorities.

According to Sgt. Ken Lattin,  police responded to incidents reported at South 429 Roosevelt, 126 South Osborne and 7136 West 4th between Friday and Sunday.

Officers report a TV, tablet, Vizio sound bar, an X-Box, and two laptops total were taken in the three burglaries.

In all three break-ins, the suspect or suspects gained entrance through a sliding glass door in the back of the homes, happened in the late evening hours, and police were able to retrieve latent prints from the scene at South Osborne. Reports indicate the thief had tried to wipe them off a window.

Officers also say they have multiple reports of a gray or white 4-door vehicle with fading or peeling paint seen in the area of the incidents.  Police say they now have a suspect vehicle description, and these cases are similar to several other cases they are working.

Anyone with any potential information is asked to contact Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers at (509)-586-TIPS. All leads are confidential, and the apprehension of a wanted suspect can result in a cash reward.

Make sure if you see obviously suspicious behavior to report it to police.  Sgt. Lattin said in the South Roosevelt burglary, police canvassing the area said neighbors reported hearing glass shattering and then saw a man walking away on the sidewalk shortly afterwards, but didn't bother to notify police. It's possible the neighbors heard the actual break-in and possibly saw the suspect walking away!
