Late Friday night,  a man entered the coffee stand on West Clearwater in Kennewick, and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Around 10:31 pm, workers reported to police that a black male wearing a ski mask and winter coat entered the facility at 4305 West Clearwater and made a gesture to lead employees to believe he had a gun.   After making off with the money, the suspect then left on foot.

Kennewick police, with help from the Pasco PD canine unit, conducted searches of the neighborhood, but did not find the suspect.   The suspect was medium build, and estimated to be between the ages of 25-30.  No one was injured in the incident.

There were conflicting reports that a suspect was detained, but no such information was released by authorities.
