Police Investigate Drive-By Shooting in West Kennewick

Kennewick police continue to look for the suspect vehicle.

Police were called to Santiago Sunset View Estates mobile home park on Steptoe Street behind Columbia Center Mall Tuesday evening after reports of a drive-by shooting.

Authorities say around 10:30 pm a black, late 1960's Chevy pickup stopped near a home at lot #146 and reportedly fired shots at a vehicle parked outside the unit. Police were called by the people in the home as well as neighbors.

Police don't believe it was gang related, and the residents told authorities they don't have any idea why someone would shoot at them or their vehicles.
