Poor President! He’ll Have To Cut Short Hawaii Christmas Holiday Due to Budget

Due to Fiscal Cliff, Obama likely back in D.C. day after Christmas

Instead of hanging loose until nearly the end of the year, President Obama will likely be back in D.C. Wednesday.

With no budget deal in sight, the 20-something day vacation originally scheduled for the Obama family will likely be cut back.  While Michelle and the kids might stay there, the President will likely fly back to meet with Congressional leaders over the Fiscal Cliff.

Area residents had originally been alerted that security would be very tight on Kailua where the Obama family planned to rent a beach house through January 6th.  But with the Cliff looming, and no deal,  it will be back to work for Obama right after the holiday.

Sounds like what a lot of us will be doing as well.   Except we’re not coming back from Hawaii.
