Portland Man Attempted a Chainsaw Robbery

Most people try to rob stores with guns, or at least toy guns. But not Jonathon Lee Lathrop. He was found in the Woodstock neighborhood in Portland attempting to rob a Plaid Pantry convenience store with a chainsaw. Lathrop, 34, was found with a knife and a chainsaw at the Plaid Pantry in Woodstock.

No exact details about the chain of events have been released yet, but police did find a car near the store that may have been a getaway vehicle.  Lathrop was arrested, and thank goodness, no one was injured. My advice to Lathrop, Funyons and Mt. Dew aren't worth going to jail man.
