The results are not even cold from I-594, and already a huge event is being planned for the steps of the state capitol.

Organized by Gavin Seim, who ran in the primary for the 4th. District Congressional race, the "i-594 I will NOT Comply" Facebook page appeared today.   The page features the date and time of the event, which will feature a rally - and gun owners across the state are invited.  The event will take place Saturday, December 13th at 11am at the State Capitol  in Olympia.

See the page by clicking here.  You can choose to attend, and invite friends via the page if you wish.   Seim is a young, spirited businessman from the Wenatchee area,  who got about 4-5% of the votes in the primary, but garnered much attention for his civil disobediance over what he believes are un-Constitutional laws.

Some of the text from the Facebook page includes:

"The Constitution is the supreme law and our God given rights are NOT open for negotiation. We choose to uphold the law as peacefully and principled as possible, but it will be upheld.

We will buy and sell guns from whom we please, we will not submit to background checks, we will not give up our rights, WE WILL NOT Comply.

We will rally at the capital, openly exchange guns, unveil and plan to break apart the entire legislation and violate i594 in every possible way. Because ALL law that violates the Constitution is not law, it is VOID!"

This will be a very interesting event, especially since Seim and those attending plan to publicly exchange firearms.    We will keep updating this site and event as more information is released.
