Raid on West Richland Homes Reveals Weapons, Marijuana, Meth and Heroin
According to the Benton County Sheriff's office, two men are in custody after a series of raids conducted Tuesday afternoon.
The Benton County Gang Team, assisted by the Benton-Franklin Metro Drug Task Force and other authorities searched two homes in the city.
49-year-old Scott E. Derrick of Kennewick, and 47-year-old Randall W. Jones of West Richland were arrested after authorities found a variety of drugs and weapons in the homes.
7.5 grams of black tar heroin, a half-pound of meth and marijuana was found, along with cash and a rifle.
Derrick is facing at least five charges, including felon in possession of a firearm, while Jones was arrested on several warrants.
