Remembering One Of Walla Walla’s Finest
Mat Fazzari was in Afghanistan for only about three weeks when he and his commander and co-pilot were killed in a helicopter crash in the Ghazni province. Their helicopter had been struck by a rocket-propelled grenade (which the Taliban took credit).

Mat Fazzari’s plane is landing today at 11:00 a.m. at the Walla Walla airport. The procession will start from the airport at 11:15- 11:30 down Isaacs, to Main St to Herring Funeral Home. Please line the streets to welcome Mat home!!
