Richland Luring Suspect Now Linked to Three Incidents

Earlier we told you about a suspect being sought by Richland police for allegedly offering a girl money to get in his car on Dec. 9. Now the expanded investigation has turned up more incidents.

Monday, Richland police said the suspect, a heavy-set white male with a brown and grey beard, is believed to have tried to lure young girls at least three times.

The first reported incident occurred near Wellhouse Loop around 2 p.m. on Dec. 9. A 12-year-old girl refused the man's offer of cash to get into his car. The vehicle has Oregon license plates and believed to be a Volkswagen GTI. T

he man reportedly has approached middle-school aged girls and offered them money to get in his car.

Now Richland police say the man and vehicle are linked to two more incidents, one on Dec. 4 and the other Dec. 15.
