Richland police are asking for tips from the public to help apprehend the male suspect who apparently burglarized a car wash earlier in July.

Around 3:40am Wednesday July 20th, the suspect broke into the car wash room at the Shell Station on Goethals drive.

The suspect got an undisclosed amount of money, then left. He's described as 5'8" to 5'10" in late teens or early 20's, medium build. He was, in the surveillance video released by our news partner KNDU-TV, wearing a baseball cap, colored jacket and dark backpack.

All leads are confidential, information may be called into Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers at (509)-586-TIPS.
