The City of Richland is looking for local artists to share their talents in a contest: “Seasons of the Park.”

Pre-Kindergarten children all the way up to adults are invited to produce artwork that reflects their favorite season. Participants may use any medium so long as it fits on an 11x17 piece of paper.

The Richland Library will accept pieces now through Feb. 15.

Every piece entered will be exhibited at the library Feb. 16-28.

The city will then select pieces to be displayed on trash cans in Howard Amon Park as part of a community park beautification effort.

This art project is a collaborative effort between the Richland Arts Commission, Parks & Recreation, and the Library.

Stephanie Hartwig from the Richland Arts Commission said, “The Art Commission has been working this past year to build community collaborations to further arts and culture in Richland. This project is one of many we hope to continue to pursue this year.”

Submit art via mail to the Richland Library at 955 Northgate Dr.(99354)
