The 16th annual Platinum Judging has just released its "Best of The Best" list for Wine. The wines mentioned in the Wine Press Northwest article are wines only from Washington, Oregon, British Columbia and Idaho that have won gold medals at any of about 40 competitions worldwide in 2015...

This year a record breaking 698 wines were entered to the judging and a Richland Winery tops the list this year and has garnered a total of 20 "Platinums" placing them in 5th for best of all time Wineries.....and the winner is Barnard Griffin with their fortified dessert wine made with Syrah! Que Sera Sera...  WOW what an amazing win!

I can say I had this wine on several occasions and it never disappoints and the bonus is the price point: Barnard Griffin 2013 Syrah Port, Columbia Valley • $17

The Moral of this story is GREAT wine does not have to break the bank!
