Authorities are searching for two suspects in the Tuesday evening assault and robbery.

Pasco police said around 9:45pm, an African American man and a Hispanic man carrying a rifle walked into the Cellulares El Rey establishment at 1608 West Sylvester and confronted the clerk.

Before fleeing the store with an undisclosed amount of money, two laptops, and several cellphones, the man with the rifle struck the clerk in the head with the butt of the gun, causing injuries to his face.

Unfortunately, the store is not equipped with surveillance cameras. Police are searching to find a witness, reports indicate a customer in the store at the time of the robbery ran and hid in the restroom, then left before police arrived.

Officials are searching for any DNA or fingerprint evidence at the store.
