Sears Closings Creeping Closer, Vancouver- Portland

As of November, another 46 Sears stores are going to be shuttered. According to multiple financial sources, these stores are being targeted as not profitable enough to remain open.

Sear's Holdings Inc. says 33 are Sears stores, 13 others are K-Mart, over which they have the controlling interest. Sears is reportedly looking over an opportunity to sell off it's signature Kenmore Appliance brand arm, they've already sold their Craftsman Tools division.

The closest Sears locations to close will be in Vancouver and Portland, OR. These stores will be closed, say officials, by the end of November.

As of May 5th, the chain was operating a total of 894 outlets.
