I doubt this will make it into the media coverage of the second presidential debate, but if you were to hear the words of Andrew Stepanian at Hofstra University Tuesday evening, you would be listening to a convicted terrorist.

From The Daily Caller:

Andrew Stepanian, a felon who went to prison for animal enterprise terrorism, appears on Hofstra University’s published schedule at 8:00 p.m., during the hour before the debate begins. Stepanian runs The Sparrow Project, a left-wing PR project whose website indicates connections with the Occupy Wall Street movement.

Why or how he ended up on the speaker's podium just prior to one of the most important events in the 2012 election campaign is a mystery. Hofstra University has not released any information as to what exactly his role there is. What an animal rights activist has to do with the presidential election? I guess that's for Hofstra to decide.
