Snohomish County Sheriffs, Child Protective Services and other officials continue to investigate a sad discovery near a mobile home in Everett.

Officials say they've likely recovered the remains of a girl, who died at least four years ago, and her mother and boyfriend kept her remains in a plastic storage container!

According to KING-5 TV and Northwest Cable News Network, the girl's name is Tianna Serena Marie Kirchner.

Officials recently began to investigate what they believed to be a missing child after receiving information from a distant relative to the child. This person told police they believed the girl had died when she was four years old and living with her mother, four years ago.

Authorities say the mother, who's identity was not released, and her boyfriend (not the girl's biological father) had a "history" with police, and reportedly panicked when the girl died, this according to the Sheriff's office. How she died was not revealed in reports yet.

NWCN and KING-5 report the parents reportedly wrapped her body in a towel and placed it in a storage cooler. When she began to decompose and smell, they poured cement into the cooler and kept it for three more years in Lynnwood at a relatives house after they moved.

The people who came forward said the couple admitted the girl had died.  So far the investigation has revealed she was never reported missing, and never enrolled in school. Officials say she would have been nine years old this year.

Several versions of how she died have been told by the mother, the investigation continues, but no charges have been filed yet. Child Protective Services said they had been looking for the girl after the information came in from that relative, but said the mother was elusive about details, and sometimes tell officials other people had custody of the child. But these "other people" could never be located to prove the child was with them.
