A man wanted in connection with a shooting near Soap Lake has turned himself into police.

One of two suspects sought in connection with the August 6th incident, Tomas Miguel Lopez, walked into the Grant County Jail Sunday night and surrendered. He was booked on charges, while officials still seek the other suspect.

August 6th around 10:20pm, two people called the Grant County Sheriff to report a car pulled up in front their car, which was stopped near Fern and Main Streets, and fired at them. A 16-year-old boy in the car sustained minor injuries. A woman in the car was not injured.

The victims reported the two suspects both got out of the car, and fired at them. Tomas was identified as one of the suspects.

Officials don't yet know who the other suspect might be.
