Shooting Suspect Taken Into Custody

An update to Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers searching for a shooting suspect.

35-year-old Juan Sanchez was located and arrested around 11pm Thursday night by U.S. Marshalls and members of the Kennewick Police Department Criminal Apprehension Team.

He was wanted in connection with a shooting in Kennewick July 7 in the 4700 block of West Metaline. Not only was he wanted for that incident, but he was also charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, and an unrelated Department of Corrections Escape Warrant.
