Shots Fired on Beech Street in Kennewick – SWAT Apprehends Suspects

Last night, Kennewick police responded to a drive-by shooting on 1319 S. Beech Street. Witnesses reported the shooters were driving a white Ford Escort. A Pasco police officer watching the Cable Bridge and aware of the report saw a similar vehicle crossing and followed the car to 906 S. 9th Street in Pasco.

Three suspects entered the house and the officer detained two suspects who remained in the car. With the help of the Pasco Police Department, Kennewick police and the Tri-City Regional SWAT team, two additional suspects were located hiding in a neighbor's shed.

The shooting is still under investigation. Names of individuals involved are still being determined.
