Sliding Driver Takes Out Power Pole, Lights, Flees Scene

Fortunately, the power interruption was brief, but Walla Walla County Sheriff's would LOVE to talk with the errant drive who missed their turn, and blasted a power pole Monday night.

Sheriff's say an errant driver missed their turn by the Touchet Gas Station on Highway 12, slammed into this power pole, cracking and breaking it. But they didn't stick around. Witnesses called authorities, but the vehicle left before they could arrive.

The pole was replaced with minimal power interruption, but the driver and vehicle still being sought.
