The Schmitt Brothers Farms Pumpkin Patch & Fall Festival is bringing back the Tri-Cities original Great Pumpkin Smash! Smashed pumpkins will rain from the skies, with prizes inside!

The festivities will be this Saturday, November 4th from 11 am - 5 pm at Schmitt Brothers Farms. There'll be activities that will include pumpkin tee ball, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin bashing in the rage cages and the “Famous Pumpkin Drops” from a massive dumpster 100 ft. in the air by a huge crane provided by Lampson Crane.

How does The Great Pumpkin Smash work you ask?

Check out this cool video below that shows you how its done

Pumpkins explode everywhere and in go the kids, to dig for the spoils among the slimy, busted pumpkin guts.

Here are more details from the press release that gives you all the details to attend.

The drops will be held at the top of every hour and will require the kids to dig thru the massive pile of pumpkins to find the fun prizes (Halloween candy, gift certificates to local restaurants, movie tickets, and other surprises).

The final drop at 5pm will be just for adults and will include restaurant, gas station, and movie theater gift certificates, with the grand prize being a golden ticket for a pair of concert tickets to the Saturday, November 12th Garth Brooks / Trisha Yearwood concert in Spokane, WA.
