If you have been feeling like crap since the smoke blew into town, you are not alone.

Tri-Cities and Eastern Washington has the worst air quality in the country, and now local hospitals are seeing an increase in patients because of it according to news reports. Most of the increases are for people with asthma or COPD. The national Weather Service has been making warnings for people in poor health or people with asthma problems should stay inside.

Severe asthma attacks can be very dangerous and should not be ignored with the air quality as bad as it is now. Doctors say if you can’t get a mask made to filter smoke from the air, just stay inside until the warnings are over this Wednesday.
