Spokane Driver Shoots Self in Fatal Accident – Car Found in Intersection

Spokane police and sheriffs are still trying to put together the facts from a strange fatal shooting that occurred Monday morning.

Authorities were called to a report of a car sitting in the intersection of 5th. and Magnolia Streets in Spokane. But when officers arrived, they found a man sitting behind the wheel with a gunshot wound.

He was quickly pulled from the car, officers began CPR but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Not many details were released, but Spokane Police are calling it an "accident," and from what details were released, it appears to have been an accidentally self-inflicted wound.

The unidentified man was in his 30s.
