Stabbing Suspect Sought After Kennewick Assault

A 27-year-old Kennewick man is at Trios Southridge with serious stab wounds after an assault shortly before noon Thursday.

Police were called to the Heatherstone II apartments at 1212 W. 10th, and found Jonathan Ard of Kennewick. He was rushed to Trios and the search began for the suspect.

Police say Ard had been at a friend's apartment in the complex when the suspect (pictured) 28-year-old Shirley A. Madison, of Pasco, showed up at the same unit.

Police didn't say why, but she allegedly attacked Ard with a knife, causing the injuries.

She fled on foot.
