Rather ironic, but true!  The Tri-City Fever's Intense Football League (IFL) game scheduled for Friday was nearly cancelled due to near-record snowstorms in Denver and the Midwest. (Photo courtesy of Tri-City Fever)

The Sioux Falls Storm, the defending IFL champions, were slated to play the Fever Saturday night at Toyota Center. But with up to 7 inches of snow and treacherous conditions cancelling most flights in and out of Denver, and other Midwest cities, the Storm could not find a way to get to Kennewick!

However, news came out Friday morning the Storm were able to get enough tickets spread around between different airlines that the team will arrive in Tri-Cities in time to play Saturday night at Toyota Center.   They may come in one-by-one or in two's and three's but the game IS ON.
