Arlene's Flowers in Richland was granted an appeal in their case that they discriminated against a gay couple by not providing flowers to their wedding.

The case had been ongoing but Barronelle Stutzman of Arlene's Flowers had refused to provide the flowers for the wedding of Curt Freed and Rob Ingersoll.

The courts ruled that the flower shop discriminated against the couple last year but the flower shop was waiting on an appeal of that judgement.

The case is going back to court now that the Supreme Court ruled that a Colorado Baker could refuse service to a gay couple based on his religious beliefs.

The recent ruling means that Arlene's has a case to appeal their ruling and take it back to court.
