See the Surprising Newstalk Poll Results for Legalizing Marijuana

At Newstalk 870 we like to get your opinion on lots of subjects. This one has been a hot-button issue.

We recently asked if you favored the legalization of  marijuana. Oregon groups just got enough signatures to meet the deadline so voters will join Washintonians in deciding if it will happen this November. We had some surprising results in our Newstalk poll:

• 60 percent of you said you favor legalization of the drug via state-run stores (similar to the old liquor stores).

• 20 percent of you said no to legalization.

• 18 percent of you favor legalization, but not through state-run stores.
