Suspect Arrested in Gang-Related Shooting in Pasco

Not long after a shooting was reported near the intersection of 7th and Agate Streets in Pasco, police were able to identify and arrest a 23-year-old suspect.

Pasco police reported the shooting around  3:49pm, and with help from K-9 Lemon, they quickly located a suspect. They also got some tips from people at the scene.

Friday morning, police said the suspect was identified as Daniel Davis Canela. Not only is he in jail as the suspect, he's facing charges of felon in possession of a firearm.

Police did not elaborate Friday morning, but some reports indicated the shooting was gang related.
