Suspect Identified in Massive Tri-City Gas Theft

Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers have identified the suspect we pictured recently, wanted in connection with some $5,000 worth of fuel thefts from automated gas stations.

Police are seeking 41-year-old Sergio Diaz, in connection with illegal use of a lost or stolen company gas card. Since March 1st, some $5,000-plus worth of fuel has been illegally pumped from Pacific Pride-Connell Oil automated fuel stations from around the Mid-Columbia.

Diaz 5'8" 175 pounds, and has a tattoo of "Brown Pride" on his back, "Sergio" on his shoulder.

He also has three bullet wound scars on upper left back. He's facing 2nd Degree theft and two counts of identity theft in connection with the fuel heists.
