Suspect ‘Wrecks’ Borrowed Car, And Himself, in Roundabout Crash

Early Sunday morning, police perhaps had to just follow 'the blood' in finding a suspect driver.

Police say around 6am, they got calls about a man seen staggering away from a crash scene in the roundabout at Center Parkway and West Grandridge Boulevard. Witnesses said the man piled his car into the landscaping, then staggered away.

Reports said he was visibly bleeding and hurt. Police were able to locate him at a nearby apartment complex. Turns out the legal owner of the car lives there, apparently the driver, 27-year-old Steven Garcia, was using it.  He was arrested and is facing a variety of charges including DUI.
