Two suspects arrested Tuesday night in central Kennewick were not only wanted on outstanding warrants, but an empty meth bag on the floor of their vehicle will only add to their charges!

Members of the Kennewick Criminal Apprehension Team (CAT) were at the Chevron station at Vista Way and Kennewick Ave. when they saw a wanted suspect, Richard A. Schatz Jr. The vehicle he was in was surrounded, and he was taken into custody.

Then it got interesting. The vehicle's driver first gave a fake name to police, but officers quickly figured out she was Danielle R. Price, who had two outstanding warrants. Police saw a discarded bag of meth sitting on the floor of their vehicle...whoops! Might want to have thrown that away.

A third person in the vehicle was released after it was determined they had nothing to do with the drugs, or the two suspect's avoiding police. It's likely Schatz Jr. and Price will also be facing drug charges.
