Suspicious Car Actually Stolen, Then Abandoned

Sunday morning, Kennewick police got a report of a suspicious vehicle sitting not far from a Kennewick convenience store.

Shortly before 9am, police arrived at the Jet Mart Conoco by Volland, just south of Canal Drive, and saw this car sitting in a field next to the facility. The reporting person said it just looked weird for it to be out there in the field, by itself.

A quick check of the plate shows the car was reported stolen Saturday night from Richland. No one was in the car at the time of the recovery, no word if there's any suspects or if any damage to the car.

It appears somebody stole it, went joy riding, then just dumped it.
