The Walla Walla Police Department sustained only one casualty Thursday during a mutual assist case with Umatilla County Sheriffs.

They got a call about a barricaded suspect in Umatilla County. No details were released about that incident by either agency, but it appears they got their man judging from the photos. Umatilla County called because Walla Walla was the closest agency with a SWAT team based on the location of the incident.

However, there was on issue. The Walla Walla Police SWAT vehicle broke down on scene and had to be towed. It required the services of a semi-hook, especially since that police vehicle weighs almost as much as a light tank.

But officers made light of it, and thanked Kyle's Towing for helping them get it home and to the repair shop.
