Alcohol is believed to be the cause of a one car accident just Northeast of Prosser Sunday evening.

Benton County Sheriff's responded to a report of a car that had gone through a fence, and ended up in a ditch.

Around 6:12pm a car driven by Ruperto M. Villegas was traveling on King Tull Road, when he reached the t- intersection with Pioneer Road.  Villegas failed to turn left, or right, and rocketed off the road. He plowed through a fence, and ended up in a ditch.

Deputies say he was arrested for suspected DUI. Alcohol and t-intersections don't mix.
