Bernie Sanders made a recent campaign swing through Oregon, and stopped by Salem. Many well-wishers and supporters flocked to see their idol, and some of them reinforced the idea that a portion of his fans are kind of 'out there.'

Bernie Sanders keeps saying he's not running a traditional campaign, and Thursday night he did his best to prove it -- he became the first presidential candidate to visit Yakima in 17 years, drawing a diverse, loud and devoted crowd to the Yakima Valley SunDome just two days before Washington's March 26 Democratic caucuses...

The Sun Dome will be the site of the Sanders campaign stop, coming shortly after visits to Seattle and Spokane.

Sunday's campaign rally by Democratic Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders reinforced the growing political divide between Seattle and the West side, and East of the Cascades. It also, perhaps, has shown the ignorance of his campaign staff.

Before this presidential election, most people who don't follow politics with an 'uber' zeal didn't know who he was, except as that 'crazy uncle' type of legislator from Vermont. But the American Spectator has unearthed information about the junior Senator from the Green Mountain State that will amaze you...and probably not in a good way.
