Last year the Vietnam War Memorial at Flattop Park in West Richland was vandalized. The combat vets are trying to raise money to fix the monument and secure it with some fencing to hopefully keep vandalism from happening again.

The American Red Cross will hold the annual Turkey Trot race at Columbia Park in Kennewick from 7:30 a.m. to about noon on Nov. 28. The race begins at 9 a.m. This family-friendly 5k or 1 mile race can be walked or run. Fun kid activities will be available and top finishers will receive prizes.
