After having a liquidation sale for months, the RadioShack located on George Washington Way in Richland is now hanging a going-out-of-business sign. After RadioShack applied for bankruptcy back in March, the writing was on the wall for these small shops...

Last Thursday, RadioShack announced it is closing more than 2,400 stores after filing for bankruptcy. This will include the Columbia Center Mall location in Kennewick, and Valley Mall store in Union Gap outside of Yakima.

After taking a financial tumble, and steadily losing market share, Radio Shack has announced some 1,100 under-performing stores will be closed.
