Colorado isn't the only place suffering from wildfires this summer. 66 homes have been burned in a blaze in Idaho, and one close to home near the Dalles.

A wildfire that burned more than 10,000 acres during the overnight hours Monday was moving dangerously close to the Los Alamos National Laboratory nuclear weapons complex in New Mexico.

The fire, which was 4 miles away from Los Alamos on Tuesday has burned about 93 square miles in less than two days, MSNBC reported.

As the largest wildfire in Arizona state history continued to burn in the eastern central part of the state on Wednesday, firefighters in 11 other states were busy battling blazes.
