Moses Lake police credit their K-9, Chief, with nabbing a would be sprinter from a traffic stop. In this image, the officer is on top of the extremely uncooperative suspect.

Over the weekend, officers pulled over this car, driven by 26-year-old David Coreas, but he was 'uncooperative' then tried to flee from officers.

In the picture, a video still, the suspect is seen being taken down by an officer as he tried to bolt.  But Coreas was able to get to his feet and run.

But then, the K-9 in the picture, Chief, was turned loose and wrestled the suspect to the pavement and he quickly gave up. Authorities didn't say if any priors were in play, but Coreas will be facing multiple charges for his actions including resisting arrest.
